I have an active Colorado Teaching License with Secondary Science endorsement, and I have tutored students in all branches of science, History, Geography, and Language Arts at the secondary and university level. I have tutored students since I was a college student myself, on and off during my 20 year teaching career in middle schools and high schools, and up to today. I spend at least as much time preparing for sessions as the sessions themselves, and I believe strongly in working with each student to customize their tutoring time to their learning styles and individual needs for maximum support and impact.

Rhead tutored our son in AP Bio. His background makes him exceptionally well qualified but I was most impressed that he started by evaluating our son's learning styles and then tailored lessons to support content achievement and understanding. He was able to help bridge from rote learning to meaningful understanding of the content. He is also a really nice person who was always timely for tutoring sessions at our home. Rhead is an excellent instructor and we look forward to hiring him again for other classes and test prep!
