I've spent my life being a caregiver. I have two college and two high school aged children and I cared for my father who had Alzheimer's for over 10 years. I'm patient, intuitive, friendly and flexible. I believe respect, companionship and daily engagement with others is integral to happiness. I recognize that everyone has different needs for personal space and positive feedback is very important. I have experience assisting with personal care and feeding and I'm a good advocate at doctor's appointments. I've worked as a nanny and as a home Healthcare provider. My experience in the business world was in the insurance and elevator industries and I was a stay at home Mom for 17 years. I'm not a nurse, therapist or teacher, but I'm very capable of providing an individual support and care in following a care or learning plan set up by one of these professionals.
