Hello! My name is Renee. Since I am fairly new to Care, I can offer more personal references upon request. Here is something about me: I'd describe my personality as integrity, empathy, detailed oriented, not very social as I focus more on action. My journey with geriatric care started in 2021 at a assisted living home where I was trained to deliver care not by hands but by heart. Before leaving the job, I was the house manager, cared residents who unfortunately suffered with dementia, and closely worked with families and hospice team. Since then I have been exploring different roles like private caregiver, patient service associate at University of Michigan , and qualified interpreter. Currently, my goal is start my own home care company in the near future and mainly serve the minority in the community. Renee cared for my 81 year old mother with Parkinson's and mobility issues while we were away for 3 days. She communicated clearly throughout the hiring process and kept in touch regularly during our trip. She was thorough and conscientious, doing more things for my mother than I had even asked (like clipping her nails and a sponge bath). My mom was quite nervous about me leaving, but each time I called and even upon my return she repeatedly told me how nice Renee was and how hard she tried to do things right. So I would not hesitate to hire Renee again.
