About ReNee

I am a 2nd Grade Teacher during the academic school year. I have tutored both during the school year and in the summer through my school district. I have also taught summer school and lead taught summer camp programs. I have done private tutoring, as well. I am capable of teaching all Gen ed courses, but I tend to stick to math, reading and writing for students K-3. I like to plan fun and engaging activities to make learning more exciting. I love to read to children to support comprehension and vocabulary. I'd describe my personality as adventurous, nurturing, amd accepting. I like tutoring because it gives 1:1 attention to the student so the learning is appropriate for that child. I also believe it is important for students so they do not experience the summer slump!
