I have over 30 + years in skilled nursing and rehab centers along with home health care settings as a Certified Occupational Therapist. I have skills and knowledge with medication management, dementia care, activities of daily living, hospice care, modified meal preparation /diet restrictions, modifications of one's environment, provide light housekeeping and assist with any exercise program. I am able to provide transportation if needed for any appointments. I am unable to provide any heavy lifting/transfers, no hoyer lifts and and the client must be minimally independent with walking and transfers (walker use is ok). I'm comfortable with any type of pets in the home, I own 2 large dogs. I have a very positive and uplifting attitude, work well with the dementia population, great communication skills and very creative with encouraging one to engage in daily activities. I'm a non-smoker, a m. Available 2-5 hr shifts, days are dependent upon my schedule. Negotiable for holidays.
