I cared for a close family friend for several years in the later part of her life. She passed at the age of 99. I thoroughly enjoyed spending my time with her and loved her like family. Taking care of her included meeting her daily needs, providing companionship, transportation to appointments which included taking Dr.'s notes and helping to answer questions, running errands with (and for) her, and overnights as needed. We also went on frequent outings to get out of the house and have some fun.
