Loving and compassionate companion and caregiver for Alzheimer's patients and those suffering from dementia. Primary companion, caretaker and care plan manager for an advanced Alzheimer's patient who passed; part-time companion and caretaker for an advanced Alzheimer's patient who was recently admitted to a long term care facility. Previously worked at Greenspring Retirement Community as a communications specialist for their Memory Care Center and Hospice Department. Fun, Creative, high-energy. Believes enhancing social interaction, engagement, exercise, sleep, and nutrition can greatly improve quality of life during every stage of dementia. This includes music, arts, engagement activities, exercise and outings. I possess a B. S. degree from Cornell University in nutrition and love to cook. Assistance with bathing, walking, dressing, tolieting, eating and medication management as needed.
