About Reese

Hello! My name is Reese and I'm a current UVA student saving to help pay for college. I am very academic focused, with consistent straight A's. I am currently studying psychology and neuroscience, and my strong subjects include science, math, psychology, and English. I grew up helping my younger cousins with homework, have been tutoring for three years, and worked as a chemistry TA this past year, which helped me gain many relevant skills. I come from a long line of teachers and my mom is currently an IB mathematics teacher. I would often watch her teach or help struggling students in her classes. I have learned a lot from these experiences about how to approach tutoring to promote a deeper understanding of the material. I would be a great fit for this role because I have a genuine love for learning and consistently seek out new ways to expand my knowledge. I am passionate about inspiring others to enjoy learning, and hope I can do that for your child!
