About Reese

I'm an enthusiastic and highly engaged elementary educator (Grades 1-6) with a Master of Arts in Teaching from National Louis University and a Bachelor's degree from Elon University. I bring a strong foundation in child development, classroom teaching, special education support, and occupational therapy-informed practice, working with children across a wide range of learning profiles and needs. I also have a background in improv from The Second City which has shaped the way I interact with children. I think quickly on my feet, adapt easily to changing needs, and use humor, creativity, and flexibility to connect with all kinds of personalities. Whether a child needs structure, encouragement, redirection, or just someone to meet them in their world for a moment, I'm able to adjust in real time and make them feel seen and understood. I also bring lived experience for managing attention, regulation, and executive functioning with deep appreciation for how unique every child is.
