About Rebekah

I have worked in childcare since 2002, and am currently employed as a Special Educator in Jefferson Parish. I have experience with children with special needs, and worked at a therapy summer camp specializing in behavioral and social support and strategies in a wilderness environment. Other special needs experience includes teaching aide/ nanny for preschool aged student diagnosed with Down's Syndrome. I have also served as an employee at a Church nursery for 6 years, babysat for a myriad of children over the years, and served as a full-time nanny for a family with three children, beginning at 2 months, 3 years, and 5 years-old in New Orleans before becoming a Special Educator. I enjoy working with children at any age, at any ability, regardless of diagnoses or lack thereof. I am certified in CPR, infant CPR, CPI, Wilderness First Aid, Medical Administration, and as a lifeguard.
