I have been working in childcare for roughly 20 years. During this time, I have been a babysitter, teacher s aide with kindergarten and first grade classes, and a full time nanny. I spent a year working at For Your Child Preschool in Chicago as one of two Lead Infant Teachers. The children I have cared for range in age from 6 mo-9 yrs. With each childcare job I have been lucky enough to have, I have found that my love for children has increased exponentially. Each age brings with it new challenges, new opportunities for fun and learning, and my increased desire to help foster positive growth with future generations. I pride myself on being able to connect with children of any age, allowing them to feel comfortable, safe, and secure with me, all while having fun and exploring the world around them. I truly enjoy building relationships with children and their families, and find all of the challenges and excitement of childcare to be wonderfully enriching experiences.

I worked with Rebekah (Beka) for a little over a year and she is simply the best coworker that I've ever had. She also used to babysit my 4 years old daughter every other week and helped me and my family a lot when I gave birth to my 2nd child. She is a very bright, happy and polite person. Her approach to children is always playful, cheerful, yet sweet and calm. Being an experienced childcare provider, Beka is mindful about schedules and built routines. She will ensure that your children are safe and secure and she is CPR and first aid certified (which always gave me peace of mind!). She also has a food handling certification which you'll really appreciate if you need her to help you feed your kids (and are a somewhat of a germ phobe like me!) When babysitting for us, Beka used to engage in pretend play with my daughter and kept her entertained with artwork and crafts. Beka is also an avid book reader and a natural storyteller! (I think that's the thing my daughter misses the most about her friend Beka). I highly recommend her!!
