Hello My name is Rebekah. I am 25 years old and although I do not work in the medical field, I have actually had lots of caregiver experience. I cared for my father for 2 years as he went through chemotherapy. I cared for my grandfather who had Alzheimer's and later dementia. Some of my best friends have been older people. I love talking with them, learning from them, and most importantly empowering them. Often people don't know how to deal with older people, because they may have memory or physical difficulties. It's important to me to empower them within reason, of course! I am excited to be a companion!
