About Rebecca

I'd describe my personality as nurturing, creative and dependable. I like working with kids because they will one day shape the world that we live in. I love their natural curiosity and enthusiasm for life. I'm looking for a job that supports both the families needs and my needs. I am a teacher of 15+ years. During the school year, but have a lot of flexibility for the summer and night/weekend care. I started working with kids when I was a teenager. My mom owned a daycare center, and then I moved to the cities and started working in a childcare/school when I was in college. I have always had the heart and interest for children and education. I have my 4 yr degree in education, an AMI Primary diploma and a Wilson's Dyslexia Practitioners License. In my spare time, I like to garden, walk my dog, read, travel and hang out with my own teenage child. I would hope that you would feel comfortable and not worry while at work knowing your child/children were with me.
