Hi there! I have extensive experience working with older adults. I've assisted individuals with Parkinson's, Dementia, Alzheimer's , a Quadriplegic woman & just general physical limitations. I also worked as a rehabilitation specialist at a Physical Therapy clinic for 3 years. One of my very first care taking jobs was on-board a sailboat as a caretaker for a quadriplegic woman for 2 months as we sailed from Seattle to Alaska. I also assisted with traveling cross-country. This care included everything from meals, bathing and wound care to applying lipstick and playing games! I also provided basic care for a gentleman in the later stages of Parkinson's disease and assisted with exercise and various household tasks. I would welcome the opportunity to work with you!
