I am a certified Elementary teacher. I have taught PreK with 3 and 4-year-olds for three years, 3rd grade for 1 year, and 2nd grade for 1 year. I have experience working with children with special needs from all of those settings. I have also provided respite care for families with children with special needs who need consistent supervision or have challenging behaviors. I am not going to be teaching in a traditional classroom this year due to Covid. I am being very careful with Covid 19 precautions. I wear a mask whenever I am in public, and limit going out to essential trips. I am looking to work with a family that would also take appropriate safety precautions. I love to actively engage kids and play together whenever possible, as well as follow and support behavior plans or expectations as needed.
