I consider myself a Wellness Support Person because I do so much more. I hold a master's degree in Psychological Counseling and experience in supportive care since 1994, full-time since 2022. I support mental health needs, chronic physical conditions, and neurological conditions including dementia, Alzheimer's & Parkinson's. My whole-person approach focuses on body, mind & spirit-helping clients live better and remain independent at home. Support may include exercise/PT, meditation & breathwork, nutrition/meals, healthcare advocacy, appointments, provider communication, medication reminders, transportation, errands & household needs. A major strength I bring is problem-solving. When health or cognitive challenges make everyday life overwhelming, I research options, coordinate care and tackle challenges ranging from complex healthcare decisions to home, car & repair issues. I organize & simplify information so clients can make confident decisions and maintain independence. $30-45/hr
