About Rebecca

I have worked as a full-time caregiver for children for over 10 years. I have experience working for families with 1 to 4 children, from infants to 13 years old. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education and graduated in June 2024 with a Masters in Social Work. I have a love for music, creativity, social-emotional learning, and the arts that I love to share with children. I believe physical activity (preferably outdoors!), well-rounded nutrition, independent play, and having strong caregiver bonds are the foundations for raising a happy and balanced child. I think that it is imperative that caregiving strategies are emotionally sensitive and incorporate positive discipline, and I will work together with you to help implement a team parenting approach. We have been incredibly lucky to have Becky work for us full-time for the past 3 years. She has a wonderful way with kids, super calm and finds ways to get them to respond in kind, gentle, and respectful ways. On countless occasions, she's invented games that tailor to my kids' needs and they absolutely adore her for it. She takes them out, engages them, teaches them, and is wonderfully patient. On top of that, she is incredibly reliable and always punctual; we can always count on her and keep our minds at ease. We will really miss seeing her every day!
