About Rebecca

I'm the loving mother of teenager and the oldest daughter in a family of seven children. I have 30+ years experience caring for and teaching children of all ages including twins, large groups and neurodiverse and differently abled children. But my true love is working with infants. I incorporate music and storytelling into my work as I feel it is integral to development of language & emotional intelligence. I bring my music instrument called an "autoharp" to every job. I am CPR certified and have extensive training in first aid and water safety. I have my own car with a 3rd row seat and a great driving record. Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, I also work part-time teaching world music and dance at music camps and festivals. My work is featured in the International Bluegrass Music Museum. I enjoy reading, scrap booking singing, gardening, riding my bike, doing silly dances, and laughing a lot. I have list of excellent references, which I'm happy to provide upon request.
