About Rebecca

Hi! Im Beck. I'm a recent graduate from Bowdoin College with a BA in Sociology, Gender & Sexuality studies, and a minor in Education. My background is heavy in research and writing, paired with a love of helping students brave subjects that once felt intimidating. I have a strong affinity for the humanities, and I love working with students on reading, writing, and language learning. I'm also especially well-suited to help with high school and college application essays. As a Questbridge College Prep Scholar and National Match Recipient, I know firsthand what makes a personal essay stand out. My research and writing skills have also been recognized at the graduate level through the Mellon Mays Fellowship. I value flexibility and adaptability in my work, and don't believe my skills should be limited to one age group. Whether you're an adult taking ESL classes or a young student grasping foundational concepts in social studies, I will meet you where you are with no judgment.
