Caring for others is more than a job for me; it's a personal calling. I'm driven by a passion for enhancing the well-being and independence of adults and seniors. For five years, I was a full-time caregiver for my mother-in-law, assisting her through her dementia journey. I know firsthand how this disease impacts families. My experience includes medication management, meal preparation, and support with daily living tasks like bathing, dressing, and toileting. I am patient, compassionate, and friendly. I prioritize earning trust and adapting to changing routines. I am also skilled at de-escalating stressful situations. I provide transportation, run errands, prepare meals, and do light housekeeping. I keep families informed with verbal updates, texts, or phone calls, according to their preferences. I have a high school degree and First Aid Training.
