About Rebecca

Hello! I am currently a substitute teacher for the Wamego and Rock Creek school districts, looking for additional work on Mondays, Tuesdays, and weekends when my kiddo is with her father. Prior to starting to substitute teach, I taught horseback riding lessons to ages 3 and up. Most of my experience has been with school age children, however I filled in as a temporary nanny for a friend with a 9-month-old and 3-year-old, and enjoyed that as well. "Patient" is a word that other folks frequently use to describe me. Whether that's when teaching someone to spin yarn (one of my hobbies), or helping kiddos deal with big emotions, I believe that taking one's time and trying to explain things in several different ways yields the best result. I would also describe myself as dependable, flexible, and kind.
