About Rebecca

I'm a warm, caring, patient, and dependable person who genuinely loves working with children. I babysat throughout middle school, high school, and college, and I'm now a mother of three, ages 20, 16, and 11. I have a bachelor's degree in piano teaching and have taught piano for over 25 years. I run my own private piano studio, where I work with children of all ages. My experience as both a teacher and a mother has taught me the importance of patience, attentiveness, and truly listening to each child. I believe in being present and engaged--not simply supervising. I enjoy playing, reading, crafts, outdoor activities, helping with homework, and getting to know each child's unique personality and interests. I teach piano in the afternoons and evenings, so I have plenty of daytime availability. I'm looking for a babysitting or nanny position where I can bring my experience, warmth, and genuine love of children to a family.
