About Rebecca

Hi! My name is Rebecca, and I'm a 24-year-old based in Center City, Philadelphia. I spent two consecutive summers as a full-time, overnight camp counselor, supervising campers 24 hours a day for seven weeks. This role required consistent vigilance, emotional support, conflict resolution, the ability to manage routines, and safety. I worked with Rustic Pathways in Costa Rica, where our team ran a local camp for underprivileged children. This role required navigating a language barrier, adapting communication and instruction, and ensuring every child felt included, supported, and understood. Through activities and team-building we created a safe space for kids. I have a reliable car and license, and am comfortable with travel.
