Hi Everyone! I have 20 years experience working with children. I have been a private nanny (live-in and out), I have taught as an assistant teacher and as a sub para pro in several schools, preschools, and childcare's, including the Youth program and Ottawa public schools. I have worked as a kindergarten assistant in a Waldorf school in California. I am also a piano teacher and holistic life coach. I love pets, nature, cooking, and I am a mom to one 21-year-old son. I love being active with children and spend a lot of time outside with them when the weather permits, and doing music/art/learning activities. I am not big on media, but I am flexible and follow what parents think is best/appropriate for their children. I have studied various progressive types of education including Montessori, Waldorf, homeschooling, and Reggio Emilia pedagogies. I have also studied the Love and Logic approach and incorporate it into my holistic nannying. I charge $16-$20/hour.
