Good Day, I have 9+ years of experience working with elders. I feel that it is important to show all human beings dignity at every stage of life regardless of their age or abilities. Older people are full of life's wisdom. I feel that it is important that they retain their dignity and independence during the latter stages of life. Working with the elderly gives you valuable insight into the aging process and what's to come, giving you an opportunity to think about what matters most to you in life and how you will look after yourself as well as them.
