I've had 18 years experience with kids. I have taught up to first grade as a teacher and I've done substitute teaching up to HS levels. I've worked with special needs children & understand their frustrations (ADHD, autism, RAD, ODD, etc), trying to cope in a world that generally doesn't understand. I understand the struggles of military life with children. I do have a service dog, Apollo. When able, I'd appreciate the ability to bring Apollo to jobs. He's experienced in medical alert, help with psychiatric issues (adults & children) such as PTSD, anxiety, autism, and ADHD. He lives with a 10yr old boy (roommates grandson). We also had a 6yr old foster son last year that he was extremely close to. He's a gentle giant that is very good with children. I can help with homework, school lessons, meal prep/feeding, bathing, dressing, going to parks/outside leisure time, sports, transportation and more.
