I am a certified Severe Disabilities teacher with 10 years of experience working with students with severe/multiple disabilities, specifically students with complex communication needs (nonspeaking or multiple modes of communication) and/or intellectual disabilities. I am experienced with providing personal care including feeding, toileting, positioning, tube feeding, medication administration, transfers and more. In addition to providing personal care, I offer comprehensive or supplemental lessons on a wide variety of topics, tailored to a student's needs and interests. I am trained and experienced in many different teaching strategies and methodologies, and my motto is "presume potential." No matter where we start, your family member can grow as a learner!
