I have minor experience working with best buddies in highschool. I have also helped care for multiple family/friends children with ADHD and some autism spectrum. My son has an allergy that requires an epipen and my partner and his father both have diabetes and I help them when needed. I have worked with non verbal children and adults and know some very basic "baby" sign language I am very willing to learn more or learn any personal signs your family member may utilize to give them the best communication experience.
