About Rebecca

I have over 16 years of experience as an SLP working in the schools, 6 of those were as part of the preschool team. The rest of my school experience is with students from kindergarten to 12th grade. I spent 3 years working full time with students with high support needs, and have experience with providing social-emotional scaffolding. I am comfortable with AAC and know some beginning sign language. I am familiar with developmental norms and can incorporate activities to enhance language, literacy, math and fine motor skills into crafts and play-based activities. I am comfortable planning structured activities if that is desired, but I also believe that true child-led play should be a vital part of every child's day. I have one child of my own (12), who spends a great deal of the summer with his dad. I am looking for part-time work for the summer until school starts again. (I can also help with Light Housekeeping and Cooking/Meal Preparation.)
