About Rebecca

I began my childcare career as an infant room teacher at a preschool, where I was at times responsible for 6-8 babies. I was really good at calming them to sleep and was nicknamed The Baby Whisperer. I moved in to the toddler 2-3-year-old teaching and worked another year in that before becoming a nanny In that role I raised a beautiful young boy from age 3mo to 5 years. It was one of the best experiences of my life and we are still in contact. I went back to school after that, and along with getting an MA in Education, I became a Certified Tutor, with a focus on helping this with learning challenges. Along with tutoring, I have worked with children and young adults as an art facilitator and guitar instructor. I love working in homes because of the meaningful relationships I develop with families.
