About Rebecca

Hello! As a Dietetic Technician, formerly Registered, I have sought out as many nutrition education and leadership training opportunities as possible over the last few years. Most exciting was attending planning meetings with NAND, assisting in getting SNAP more widely available for those struggling during that time. Volunteering in the community helps me feel I'm assisting in some small way. My goal has been to nourish people, whoever is in front of me. To help families to choose the most nutritious foods, most often, for health and energy. To teach to meal prep or cook simple meals. To break bread together. I have offered companionship, medicine reminders, walk alongs, a check-in tea, light housekeeping, or more tailored assistance as needed for our elder or young loved one(s), I believe each generation needs each other. Community is our strength.
