I Love animals! I am 72 and in good shape. I have been with and taken care dogs little to large and Cats domesticated to mainecoons), birds, parakeets, cockatiels, chicken, ducks, peacocks, rats domesticated, fish, turtles small&medium, frogs, and horses. My family owned a few race horses also rode at a ranch. I am respectful of their personalities. They are entitled to have emotions. Going on walks is good for them & me. I am very strongly against walking an animal on hot pavement. My own beloved pups, long since have gone, wore shoes and only walked on dirt or grass. Only walked on pavement if it was cool to warm to my touch. Also, I do have Over Compulsive Cleaning Disorder. Yep, I like things clean and do not take offense by this. I like everything clean including the pets, and where they sleep and sit. I do not have any right now as I do not want them to be alone and I like to have 2 so they won't be alone.
