About Rebecca

Hello! I work in Special Ed for Newton Public Schools during the school year and I'm hoping to find a great fit for the summer months (our last day is June 24th and we return at the end of August)! During the COVID-19 pandemic, I worked in a residential home through Communitas Inc. in Wakefield, MA. I strived to help disabled and elderly individuals with their ADLs, feeding, and social-emotional wellbeing while ensuring they were living a meaningful and fulfilling life. I've worked in Special Education since undergrad (2015) and have been with NPS since 2020. I received a SEPAC nomination last year recognizing my work with the community. I am also incredibly detail-oriented; I am more than capable of handling family schedules, organizing appointments, getting the groceries done, and keeping the house tidy (I also love animals)!
