Rebeca worked for our family from mid-October 2025 to mid-December 2025. When she accepted the job, she had made a commitment to work through Summer of 2026. However, she gave notice in early December offering to stay until we found someone but abruptly quit shortly thereafter leaving us in a tough situation. Rebeca was charismatic and warm with my children but didn’t care to say goodbye before she left which is telling of her care or concern for us or their well-being. She often would tell me she didn’t need a job or the money, and that was very much reflected in the way she approached the job.
