I'd describe my personality as easy going, empathetic and funny! I like caring for seniors because our older loved ones deserve quality of life too! I'm looking for a job that allows me to do what comes natural to me. began caring for patients as a "candy striper" taking care of older friends, primarily as a sitter. I have healthcare experience in pediatrics and oncology. I took care of my mother during her cancer battle and cared for my father for 14 years until his passing from dementia. My father passed 2 years ago. I realized there are probably more people who need extra hands sometimes like I did. Therefore I'm stepping up! I love my family and being with them! One thing you should know about me is I absolutely will put your mind at ease and am extremely trustworthy. My skills include excellent ability to communicate. The ability to bring a smile to anyone's face. I can bring back a sense of independence with our seasoned family members.
