I started off voluntarily working with people and kids with disabilities. Taking care of them was natural for me, maybe because I grew up going to work with my mom all the time and she still till this day, a social worker. In high-school I end up working as a seasonal receptionist at Above and Beyond, a facility that cares for people with disabilities. Although I was just an receptionist I still dealt with a several hand on experiences with client's such as bathing, feeding, and cleaning up after clients. I also worked with kids raging from infants to the age of 10. I'm currently taking CNA classes and will be receiving my certificate next month.
