I have been an experienced caregiver for more than five years. In 1987 I moved to LaJolla, CA to help my younger sister with her two young children. I was their secondary caregiver. I was the primary caregiver for a quadriplegic near Port Orford, OR, Rick McKenzie owned and operated a sheep ranch in excess of 1, 000 acres. He drove a wheelchair accessible van and managed the ranch. In 2006 my wife's mother died of pancreatic cancer and we moved to Dallesport , WA to care for her step dad who suffered from chronic arthritis and dementia, Tom died in 2011. Currently I work part time at Adventist Health Columbia Gorge as a cook. Our two children ages 27 and 23 live wit us. I am an experienced Restaurant Manager, Chef and line cook.
