Hi! Pre-Social Work student at UNLV and a licensed substitute teacher with CCSD, with most experience in K-5 schools. I value education and I enjoy working with kids and creating an environment where they feel safe, heard, respected, and cared for. I'm very patient and attentive and I can help with activities like reading, arts and crafts, games, homework, etc! I'm very creative, so we would not be having screen time the entire time, but of course I'm going to follow your plan and structure! My background in social work has taught me the importance of empathy, cultural competence, professionalism. I have knowledge in early childhood development and milestones and trauma informed care as well! My top skills include: - Child safety and supervision. I have been responsible and efficiently managed classrooms with students from ages 5-10 years old - Positive behavior management using positive reinforcement and keeping kids genuinely engaged. -Communication and emotional support.
