About Rashidah

Rashidah cares for my Mom, who has Alzheimer's. She does everything necessary for me to have Mom at home while I work from home. She cares for Mom, my son, the cats and dogs, the garden, everything. She is always cheerful and brings a calming influence into what can be a chaotic and stressful situation. Rashidah always treat Mom with the utmost respect, but in a happy and personal manner so that Mom can stay as independent as possible as long as possible. She goes to doctor's appointment with us and her nursing background shows clearly, and helps me to be confident we understand all the doctor's questions and instructions. Most importantly, Rashidah has helped us learn how to care for and communicate with Mom as her condition advances. The whole family is better at caring for Mom, less stressed, and can really enjoy the time with left as a result. Every night, Mom tells us how happy she is to be living at home with us. We feel the same, and that would not be possible without Rashidah.
