About Raquel

I'd describe my personality as upbeat. I like working with animals because I have had pets my whole life and treat them like a family member. I'm looking for a job that I can give the love and care a working family/ busy family needs for their beloved pet. I started working with animals as a teenage (2001) I helped bath horses, braided their hair, and cleaned their stalls. In my spare time, I like to read a lot of books, but spend a lot of time hiking to allow the dogs to get exercise and have unique experiences. One thing you should know about me is I'm extremely respectful and take any tasks needed to be completed very seriously. I am a Veteran that joined the Army after 9/11 and did deploy to Iraq. I served my country and was discharged honorable. I have been working for the county helping Veterans and their families for 10years now. My skills include minor grooming (bathing, brushing and blowouts), safe walks / hikes. I am able to transport your pet where ever they may need to go.
