In 2018 my grandmother came to live with my family. It was a huge change but one I could never be more grateful for. As soon as quarantine began, my mother backed primary caretaker of my grams, but anytime she was too ill to take care of her it was my honor to be her caregiver. Balancing school, choir, drama, UNICEF, and my other extra curriculars was a challenge but one worthwhile. After years of caring for her, I grew into capabilities I never realized I already had. I was able to understand so much more about the meaning of taking care of another soul. Since that time I have been babysitting around my neighborhood, petsitting, and doing the daily deeds that make a difference in the lives of those around me. I hope here I can continue to connect with others and make a worthwhile impact in their lives.
