About Raquel

I started as a PCA in 2008. I have worked 1 on 1 with clients that had Parkinson's, Dementia, and others that were stroke victims, quads and diabetics. I ran errands, PT, meds, appts, ADL and homemaker. In 2011, I changed fields and started working with individuals on the spectrum, epilepsy, seizure disorders and were non-verbal. I help with housework, errands and meal prep. I have worked my way up getting many certifications and became a case manager assisting in creating community based programs. I love what I do. I feel a sense of appreciation like no other and I love to watch the individuals/Seniors I support, grow. I am MAP (med administration) certified, I am CPR/First certified, employment support professional, I have had human rights and positive behavioral supports training among other training. I assist in finding appropriate recreational activities, I have made visual boards, I have been a job coach and job developer.
