About Raquel

As a caregiver, one of my main priorities is to gain the trust of the children and families I work with. I value that children in my care feel supported, comfortable, and safe in their environment. I am eagerly searching for a nannying position in Westchester & Dutchess County. I have a love of working with children, building relationships with them, and ensuring their environment is adding to their wellness. I have experience working with children of all ages and abilities. My most recent opportunities have been working with students in special education as a Teacher's Assistant. In the classroom I made accommodations to student's individual needs, prioritized their safety and comfort, and had open communication with my students. Courses I took while attaining my BA: Introduction to Teaching, Sociology of Childhood, and Families, Communities, & Cultures, Spanish, and ASL. In school to become an SLP!
