About Raniyah

I'd describe my personality as caring, outgoing, and patient! I love working with kids because I enjoy having fun with them while also being someone they can look up to, learn from, and trust. I've cared for children since middle school, when family members would pay me to babysit my younger cousins, including newborns and infants overnight. In college, I worked as a counselor at an overnight YMCA summer camp, and I currently work as an instructional aide supporting students with special needs at a high school. In my free time, I enjoy running on the beach, hiking, Pilates, reading, drawing, and spending time with friends and family. Most importantly, I want every child to feel safe, comfortable, heard, and free to be themselves around me. I love being silly, playing games, and bringing out my inner child while creating a fun and caring environment. My top skills are patience, dependability, and engagement!/silly!!
