About Rakia

Hi! I've been passionate about working with children since I was young. I started out caring for my siblings, then family and friends, and eventually throughout highschool gained professional experience at a daycare. I also spent my junior and senior year of highschool in the Early Education program at Lewiston Regional Technical Center, which gave me a great foundation in child development. I have experience with children of all ages and have had the privilege of working with children with disabilities. I'm CPR certified and trained as a Behavioral Health Professional, so I make safety, patience, and understanding my top priorities. I love creating fun, safe, and meaningful experiences that fit each child's needs and help them grow at their own pace. I truly love caring for children and watching them reach milestones I strongly believe in fostering a nurturing, loving, and healthy environment where all children can learn and thrive at their own pace.
