About Rainie

Hello, My name is Rainie . I graduated from the University of North Carolina Wilmington in 2019 with a B. S. in Chemistry. After graduation, I worked at Alcami Corporation, a pharmaceutical testing company. I began a chemistry Ph. D. program at North Carolina State University, and have completed close to 1 year of graduate chemistry coursework. I worked as a graduate teaching assistant for general chemistry (laboratory and lecture) and inorganic chemistry. I also worked as a tutor in the NC State Chemistry Tutorial Center during my first semester of graduate school. I made the decision to move from Raleigh to Wilmington to pursue a Master's in Chemistry (starting in Fall 2020) at UNCW to focus on a chemistry discipline that differs from the type of research I engaged in at NC State. I would be happy to help any college or high school students that need tutoring for chemistry coursework. Rainie
