15 year experience of working within an assisted living facility, I have held many roles in dedicating one on one time with the elderly such as preparing activities and special entertainment to make their days special, engaging in 1:1 conversations and establishing forever friendships, volunteering to help bathe and assist residents with getting ready for the day. Serving residents their meals and or saving meals for them while their were out attending to treatments/appts. I offer dedicated support and light housekeeping. My approach is rooted in patience and empathy which helps me navigate challenges like confusion or behavioral changes with ease. I prioritize earning the trust of every individual I support, ensuring they feel secure and respected. I believe in transparent communication and provide consistent updates.
