About Raequel

I'm dependable, energetic and compassionate. I believe children should feel safe, heard and have fun. I love their curiosity and unique personalities and enjoy helping them build confidence and try new things. I'm seeking a kind, respectful family who can trust and rely on me. I began working with children in 2008 when I led the Smart Girls program at the Boys & Girls Club. I've also volunteered with Reading Partners and am currently a Girl Scout leader. I'm an active person who enjoys restaurants, festivals and concerts, camping and spending time with friends. When I commit to something, I show up. I care about the people in my life, notice what needs to be done and take initiative. I love to laugh and have fun. I'm responsible, but don't take myself too seriously. My strengths include keeping children engaged in activities, patience, communication, dependability and attention to safety.
