About Rae

Hey! I'm Rae and I started working with kids when I was still a kid myself. I babysat a lot growing up, and my first nanny gig was in high school. I've split my adult career pretty evenly between food service and child care. I love to learn about the world around me and the people I'm in community with. I like to crochet, read, research cool plants and bugs, cook for my loved ones, and spend time outdoors. I'm a very crafty person and I like to think out of the box when facing challenges. And while I know taking care of children is serious business, I still try to find the joy or fun in any situation. I like working with kids because they inspire me to be honest, curious, and to never stop learning. Watching a child's mind develop as they experience new things and discover their personalities is a gift. I hope to work for a family that I can connect and grow with as I support them with the demands of daily life and raising kids.
