During college, I was a peer mentor and tutor for intro level STEM courses, primarily biology and chemistry. I attended the weekly classes and hosted office hours where students could come with questions. Often, I re-taught students the lecture, breaking it down into easily digestible portions and using drawings to explain the processes. STEM is a passion of mine and I believe that every student deserves support and to be taught at their own level.
